Photo Submissions

Photos of Winners (free)

If your dog has won a class, challenge or BOB in any of our WCRC, Champ or National shows from 1989 onwards please submit a photo.

Please include with the photo, the dog’s name and titles. The show/s and class/es that he has won.  If your dog has had multiple wins, his photo will be only shown once but with a list of all his WCRC achievements. (This will save web space and download times)

Photos must be of the dog ONLY. No recognisable person must be in the photo nor will the owner and/or handler be named.

Photos of Stud Dogs or Sire & Dam of Litters    (Members only)

If you wish to include a photo of your dog/s with your Stud Dog or litter advertisement (see Advertising) the above applies. It must be of the dog/s ONLY.

Candid Camera (free)

Photos for this category must NOT be in any show stance. We would like casual, cute humorous and unusual photos of your dogs. Include the dog’s pet name and a caption. These photos can include people as long as you adhere to the guidelines.

Display

All photos are displayed in thumbnail size with a mouse click to enlarge facility.  See sample at beginning of page.

Format:

All photos must be in jpeg (.jpg) format

Quality should be high. At least 180 ppi (recommended)

If photos are scanned, scan at high quality colour, at least 300 dpi (recommended)

Submissions

Submit photos in their original format. Do NOT re size. We will optimize all photos received for the best quality and size for this website.

Photos can be emailed to webmaster@wcrc.org.au

We cannot accept photos by email over 3MB. If your photo is over 3MB burn it to a CD and send with your Photo Submission Form.

Photo Submission Form & Legalities

Each photo you send must have a photo submission form.

Photos will not be uploaded to the site until the form is received.

Forms can be filled online prior to printing. You must have the latest Acrobat Reader. There is a link on our home page to download it.

Do not send photos of another person, or another person’s child without their written permission. This violates personal rights.

Do not send another photographer’s photo without their written permission. This violates copyright law. It is up to you to obtain these permissions for yourself.
